The 37th Iranian Mind Sports Championship Successfully Concluded in Qazvin
Qazvin, Iran – December 20, 2025
The 37th Iranian Mind Sports Championship was successfully held on December 18–19, 2025, in Qazvin, Iran, bringing together the country’s top Under-11 and Under-20 mind sports athletes.
The championship featured competitions in Go (Weiqi), Draughts (Checkers), Dooz/Morabaraba, and Mixed Mind Sports (MMS). The event was organized by the Iranian Mind Sports Committee (IMSC), with the support and patronage of the OSAIRI Mind Sports Committee, under the leadership of Mrs. Maryam Amidimehr IMSC President.
The opening ceremony was officially inaugurated by Dr. Mohammad Ghasem Manouchehri, President of the GAWSF Mind Sports Committee, the Humanitarian Games Secretary General and President of World Mixed Mind. Distinguished guests included representatives of the Qazvin Provincial Department of Environment, the Physical Fitness and Wellness Association of Qazvin Province, the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Qazvin Province, as well as OSAIRI representatives from across Iran.
The championship concluded with the announcement of winners in all age categories, showcasing the outstanding talent and continued development of mind sports among Iran’s youth. The event reaffirmed the growing national commitment to promoting intellectual sports and nurturing elite young athletes across the country.
